Mourne Mountain Rescue Team Base, Newcastle, Co. Down

Mourne Mountain Rescue Team (MMRT) intend to appoint a suitable contractor to construct a new two storey building located at Shan Slieve Drive and Bryansford Road, Newcastle. MMRT invite an expression of interest in tendering for this project from suitable contractors.

The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) and Invitation To Tender (ITT) documents can be obtained by emailing nigel.lynch@nl-associates.co.uk.

A final date for requesting these documents is Friday 4th April 2025. The PQQ and Invitation To Tender (ITT) documents will be issued to interested parties later in April 2025.

Once submitted, the PQQ will be assessed first, and if the tendering contractor submission does not meet the criteria necessary, then the Invitation To Tender (ITT) documents will not be opened nor assessed.

MMRT acknowledges the generous funding support of The Community Ownership Fund from The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government.

 

About Us

The Team is made up of 36 volunteers who live in and around the Mourne area. We are on call 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. We undertake a substantial amount of training in advanced first aid, technical rope work and search management.
